The Kamloops Long Blades are hosting a FUNd Coach Course on September 22nd-24th. NCCP Learning Facilitators Keith Gordon and Sandi Vyse will lead participants through Part A and Part B. Registration is via the Locker. Any questions regarding the Locker can be directed to Chris Acton. The course cost is $295, payable at the event.
The TEAM BC ST/R2RD Coaches are pleased to release the TEAM BC ST Selection Bulletin, which outlines how eligible skaters will qualify to TEAM BC Short Track for the 2019 Canada Winter Games.
The Coaches are hosting a live webinar on Thursday September 7th at 7:00pm (Pacific) to review the Bulletin and answer questions. BCSSA skaters Alison Desmarais, who recently competed at the Speed Skating Canada 2018 Team Selections, will be a guest speaker on the webinar to provide her insight into how the 2015 Canada Winter Games helped prepare her for racing on the senior national scene.
Please note that the TEAM BC Long Track Selection Bulletin will be released in September 2017. The primary LT selection process will occur between October and December 2018.
