Mandate:
The goals of the High Performance Committee are:
- to supervise the development of Provincial Level skaters
- to establish criteria and qualifications and select a B.C. Short Track and B.C. Long Track team
- to select skaters to attend various inter-provincial; national and international training camps
- to select skaters to attend various inter-provinical; national and international competitions
- to establish a ranking system for Provincial Long and Short Track skaters
- to prepare and publish an annual High Performance Committee bulletin
- to determine and publish the format and procedures for ranking competitions within the Province
- to submit report to the Annual General Meeting
- to prepare and submit an annual High Performance Committee budget
